Working as a staff reporter for The Australian and Daily Telegraph newspapers (News Corp) set the scene for becoming a persuasive storyteller.
I know how news falls on the world, how opinion is swayed and how to combat negative stories with widespread, positive branded messages.
I have written for some of Australia's best-known publications including The Australian, The AFR, The Daily Telegraph, The Sydney Morning Herald, Woman's Day, Women's Weekly an Reader's Digest and have received multiple national and international awards for health writing.
From 2013-2017 I worked in Business Development and then as Sydney Metro Marketing manager for Ramsay Health Care.
Ramsay recently moved into the top five global providers of private hospital care; treating 3 million patients a year in five countries.
During this time I provided strategic counsel, marketing , media, GP event and crisis management advice to six hospital CEOs and dozens of doctors as well as supporting the global Ramsay Digital Marketing manager, the Global Chief of Staff and the National CEO with various marketing campaigns and overseeing hospital ministerial campaigns.
In 2018, I started up my own medical marketing and business development company DigiMed and currently work with surgeons and other health professionals and communities across Australia providing affordable and effective communications.
This includes patient advocacy campaigns, business development strategy for new and established practices, referral growth, project management, PR, SEO, website development, social media, brochures and e-newsletters.
We have offices in Sydney, the Central Coast and Melbourne and current clients include surgeons, GPs, physiotherapists, aged care clients, breast cancer care surgeons, corporate and finance clients and patient advocacy groups.
