Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Open Avenues Psychology. This full-time hybrid role offers the opportunity to work with paediatric clients, providing assessments, interventions, and support to help children thrive. The role involves both in-clinic and community-based services, supported by a friendly and inclusive multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and their families.

• Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to support developmental goals.

• Collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.

• Providing education and resources to empower families and caregivers.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with professional standards.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

• An AHPRA Registered Occupational Therapist.

• Passionate about working with children and families, with prior experience or a strong interest in this area.

• A clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Well-organised, with strong time management and independent working skills.

• Collaborative and values working in a team-focused environment.

Additional requirements:

• A current Working With Children Check (WWCC).

• A current Police Check.

• A valid driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle.
