We are looking for a Senior Paediatric Speech Therapist to join our team.
Senior Paediatric Speech Therapist- Part-time Position (3-4 days per week)

An excellent opportunity to join our Brilliant Minds Psychology and Occupational Therapy team. We are adding to our range of services and are after 2 experienced speech therapist to join our team. We are an allied health team providing psychology and occupational therapy services to children, teens and adults. We seek a driven and innovative Senior Paediatric Speech Therapist to join our collaborative team.
This position is a part-time salary position x 3 days per week. The salary package varies based on your experience. We seek a committed, kind, caring and proactive team member who will make a difference! Using initiative and being a proactive individual is a must in this role!
The right candidate is energetic, has a good work ethic, upholds a high level of professional conduct, and is proactive and loves to work with children.
Skills & Qualifications
- Blue Card
- At least 3 years experience, this is Senior Speech Therapy Role.
- Demonstrated experience working with infants, children, adolescents and families
- Proven knowledge of NDIS and Medicare
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications & experience
- Recognised degree in Speech and Language Pathologist Qualifications
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience working as a paediatric speech pathologist with developmental conditions including autism spectrum condition, down syndrome, cerebral palsy
- Experience with assessment and intervention of stuttering, expressive, receptive and swallowing difficulties
- Social Skills Intervention and program design or interest in program development
- Holder of valid Blue Card and Yellow Card or willingness to apply
- Eligibility as a Medicare provider
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Drivers Licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of early childhood development and evidence based interventions.
- Good understanding of school systems and how to support children at school
- Experience developing interventions and working with children with special needs
- Experience with using assistive technology
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
