Senior Occupational Therapist
We are looking for a passionate neurodiversity affirming Senior Occupational Therapist/Team Leader to join our team.
The SPOT Centre is a NDIS accredited neurodiversity affirming clinic which delivers a mixed disciplinary, therapeutic services offering; psychology, speech pathology and occupational therapy to children. We provide an evidence based, individually tailored, multiple stream approach for children and their families/guardians/carers in a supportive community environment.

The role:
- Provide evidence-based assessment and therapy to a peadiatric caseload
- Managing a small, enthusiastic, team of OT's as a valued member of our leadership team
- Full-time, part-time, contract engagement available
- Sessions conducted in our Malvern East clinic, local schools/kinder/childcare and via telehealth
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes which are client centric.
What do you need to join?
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline;
- A neurodiversity affirming mindset and approach
- Passion for working with children with a focus on making therapy fun, engaging and meaningful
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills;
- Experience in working with children and their support networks;
- Previous leadership experience is preferred but not essential; this role could be the next step in your career
- Compliance – AHPRA Registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Training, Driver’s License & Vehicle.
