BillyLids Therapy is excited to announce the opening of a new clinic in Norman Park! Two experienced Occupational Therapists from our Newmarket team will be moving to our new clinic, bringing their expertise and passion for paediatric care. We’re seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist with a minimum of three years experience to complete our founding team. As a family-run, multidisciplinary clinic, we pride ourselves on offering guidance, mentorship, and growth opportunities to help you thrive in your career.

BillyLids' senior Speech-Language Pathologist brings over 45 years of experience, specialising in early intervention for children with physical disabilities, supporting their development across diverse settings, and building capacity with assistive technology. Their wealth of knowledge and dedication ensures our clinicians have the skills and insights to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care, supported by a combination of face-to-face and Zoom mentoring sessions tailored to professional goals, along with opportunities to shadow experienced clinicians and be shadowed during therapy sessions.
The caseload:
- Dedicated paediatric practice supporting children under 10 and their families
- Responsible for providing evidence based assessment, planning and intervention for children.
- Achievable KPI’s- maximum of five clients per day with a soft landing.
- Hybrid model - four in clinic sessions per day complemented by one community visit.
The benefits:
- Above award salary: $90,000- $110,000 + superannuation, depending on clinical expertise.
- Five weeks of annual leave each year.
- Not required to work on public holidays.
- Well resourced clinic with a budget to procure clinician preferred resources as required.
- A variety of opportunities to meet continuing professional development requirements, including peer to peer supervision, paid time off to attend external CPD and a CPD budget.
- Supportive leadership and management team.
- Administrative support for scheduling and managing caseload.
- Relocation expenses negotiable.
Requirements:
- A playful and engaging demeanour. Must love children!
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech Pathology
- SPA registration
- Minimum of 3 years paediatric experience
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check or ability to obtain
- Vaccinated for COVID-19 and influenza
- Full working rights within Australia
- Drivers Licence
- A commitment to working collaboratively within the BillyLids team
