Move Exercise Physiology are seeking applications for both Full-time and Part-time Exercise Physiologist positions available at our fast-growing Gawler and Barossa private practices. New graduates are welcome to apply too!

About Us

Move Exercise Physiology has been in operation since 2018 and opened a brand new multi-disciplinary clinic in Gawler in early 2021. Our space contains a fully functional clinical gym, Pilates equipment and consulting rooms. We offer a wide variety of services including rehabilitation, chronic disease management, hydrotherapy, clinical Pilates and group exercise classes for a range of conditions. We work collaboratively with and alongside experienced and titled physiotherapists and other specialists from The Injury Hub. We also offer services at Tanunda Aquatic and Fitness for our Barossa based clients.

Our client base is interesting and varied. You will be involved with:

· Musculoskeletal Injuries requiring exercise prescription

· Paediatrics conditions

· Brain Injuries and neurological conditions

· Disabilities within the NDIS

· Work Injuries and Motor Vehicle Accidents within Return To Work SA.

· Diabetes Exercise Management individually and within a class setting

· Oncology clients individually and within a class setting

· Weight loss programs

· Clients in hydrotherapy environments

· Rehabilitation with Department of Veteran Affair (DVA) clients

Available Positions

Full-time or Part-time Accredited Exercise Physiologist

The successful candidate will have:

· Full Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Registration or eligibility

· Ability to work both under direction, in a team and autonomously

· Experience and confidence working with chronic and complex health conditions, including heart conditions, diabetes, musculoskeletal conditions, NDIS clients and cancer patients

· Current First Aid and CPR certificate

· Passion for delivering a personal and holistic experience to clients

· Exceptional communication skills and keen to continue learning and developing as a clinician

Mentoring and Professional Development

We place a large emphasis on continued learning, and as such, have an extensive development program.

· Weekly one-one mentor sessions with senior Exercise Physiologist

· Weekly 1 hour group EP development sessions with senior Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists

· Fortnightly 1.5 hour CPD from experienced and titled Physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and external presenters throughout the year

· ‘Open door’ policy meaning if you have any on the spot questions or issues with a client, we encourage you to come and speak with the other allied health professionals for support
