ABOUT THE ROLES
Speech Pathology
The speech pathology role involves:
- Conducting assessments and delivering therapy for children aged 2 to 12 years in areas of articulation, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language and literacy.
- Deliver group therapy programs with other allied health team members and allied health assistants
- Commitment to understanding and applying a neuro-affirming framework and principals
- Work in partnership with the family and key stake holders e.g. educators, paediatrician, other allied health professionals that are part of the child’s team.
- Participate in education and professional development offered to parents, educators, community

What are we looking for?
Speech Pathologists with:
- Passionate about working in early intervention and/or school aged children.
- Interest/ experience with neurodiverse clients and their families
- Commitment to neurodiversity affirming inclusive practice
- Interest/experience working in partnership with parents and educators to support the child’s therapy goals in the home/community
- Interested in joining a collaborative and supportive multi-disciplinary team
- Graduate or Master’s degree
- Current member of Speech Pathology Australia. Certified Practising status preferred
Applicants must have:
- Knowledge and understanding of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) practise standards and framework.
- Information Technology competence: e.g. our practice management software is Halaxy (or willingness to learn)
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and supervision
- Current working with children check
- Current National police check
- Current CPR/first aid
- Victorian Driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
