Speech Language Pathologist

Hi! We are looking for a full or part time talented and experienced speech pathologist to expand our team. We are a new company that provides therapies with family-centered practice, working respectfully under the neurodiversity paradigm (we do NOT apply ABA-related methods). Currently we provide speech pathology, occupational therapies and social skills groups, for children and teenagers from 0 to 18 and their families. Additionally, we have created and are creating systems and wise to use technology to cut down boring paperwork tasks and report writing time! Soon we will implement virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR) systems too, to increase the effectiveness of therapies.

About you:
- Speech pathologist with SPA registration
- At least 4 years of experience working with children
- Vocation and patience to work with children
- Eligibility for registration in Medicare
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid Training
Preferred but not essential:
- NDIS workers screening Check
- You enjoy tech
Key responsibilities:
- Provide formal and informal assessment of children's speech and language abilities
- Analyse and interpret findings and report findings through written reports and progress notes
- Provide current evidence-based and ethics practice in individual or group intervention
- Conduct and/or facilitate parent or teacher training sessions when required
- Provide services off-site when required (e.g. school)
