Job Title:  Mental Health Clinician - Experienced or Intern Psychologist/Mental Health Accredited Social Worker - Queensland.
 
Location:
Position vacancies in Emerald, Biloela, Childers, and various locations across rural and remote Queensland.
Job Type:  Permanent – Part-Time (32-76 hours per fortnight).

Position Description:
They’re in search of dedicated mental health professionals, that want to make a genuine difference in the lives of Queenslanders living in rural and remote regions. Whether you're a Registered Psychologist, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker, or Provisional Psychologist completing your internship pathway, we want to hear from you. As a Mental Health Clinician, you'll be at the forefront of providing clinical and therapeutic services. Collaborating with various stakeholders and working across multiple branches of the business such as private practice, NDIS, and other mental health services.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Approved tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social Work
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) as a psychologist (full or provisional) OR
  • Current membership or eligibility for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Driver's licence (preferred)
  • Demonstrated competence in the provision of a full range of mental health services including psychological assessments
  • A commitment to providing evidence-based clinical support to people with mental health concerns
  • Extensive experience in evidence-based and best-practice clinical assessment, treatment, referral, and case management development
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with people who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness
