About The Kidd Clinic
The Kidd Clinic, a neuro and gender affirming psychological and allied health service, is dedicated to providing research-informed, collaborative, and respectful services to people across the lifespan to create meaningful change. With clinics in Boorloo (North Perth, WA), Walyalup (Fremantle, WA), and Naarm (Highett, VIC), we continually strive to offer hope and support for our clients. Many of our clients are Autistic and/ or ADHDers although we also regularly receive referrals to work with non-Autistic clients. A diversity of caseload can be provided.
Role Description
This is a full or part-time (minimum of 3 days a week) role for a Clinical, Counselling, or Educational and Developmental Psychologist at The Kidd Clinic in Fremantle, WA (there may be some limited room availability in our North Perth clinic).
We are seeking experienced psychologists with expertise or a strong interest in one or more of the following areas:
- Conducting skilled developmental, Autism, ADHD, and psycho-educational assessments
- Therapeutic work with Autistic children and adolescents, and families
- Supporting adults, especially women, who have received an Autism diagnosis later in life
- Couples and relationship counselling (especially with one or both partners being neurodivergent)
- Supporting Autistic clients in their journey with eating-related difficulties
Qualification and Skills
- Endorsement in clinical/ counselling or educational and development psychology
- Knowledge of Autism, ADHD and neurodiversity affirming practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Someone passionate about private practice and enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge with a cohesive, growth-minded team.
- A Board-approved supervisor (desirable)
