About the role: 

Due to the exciting growth, our client is looking for experienced Speech Pathologists. You will play a crucial role in helping individuals with disabilities achieve their goals and live more independently. You will provide a range of support services tailored to each individual's unique needs, including:

  • Diagnosing, assessing, and providing evidence-based intervention for a variety of clients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Providing education to clients and caregivers and creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of clients (infants, children, adolescents, and adults)
  • Keeping detailed progress notes, writing assessment reports, funding reports, referral letters, and creating and reviewing goals based on the outcomes of assessment.
  • Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals with consent.
  • Participating in care-team meetings for clients as and when required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Current SPA registration.
  • Proficient skills in complex assessment and report writing.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience.
  • Experience working within the NDIS system, desired.
  • Valid Australian working rights.
  • Have a valid Australian Drivers Licence and car owner.
