Here at Flipper Academy, we provide a unique aquatic therapy program that combines water safety and learn-to-swim skills to help children be water safe and self-reliant while building their gross motor skills. Our services involve group sessions run by qualified physiotherapists passionate about pediatrics and claimable by NDIS.

Role Description

This is a casual on-site Physiotherapist role located in Adelaide, SA. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for conducting aquatic therapy sessions for children to improve motor skills, water safety awareness, and swim skills. They will work in group sessions with 2 children per group or have individual sessions, promoting independence in the water while focusing on paediatric care.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Physiotherapy, registered with AHPRA
• Specialisation or interest in paediatric physiotherapy is desirable
• Experience in aquatic therapy or willingness to learn
• Passion for working with children with physical or intellectual disabilities
• Valid screening check for working with children and vulnerable individuals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
