WHY WORK WITH US
We feel we offer an absolutely fantastic work environment for all staff. One that is inclusive, supportive, neurodiversity-affirming, and full of passion!
We know our jobs can be demanding and often, as therapists, we can find ourselves on the verge of burnout. To help reduce the likelihood of burn out, our clinic runs on a 4 day work week with Wednesday’s as our day off. We also ensure no therapist is over booked with clients. It’s important that all of your clients are given appropriate amounts of time dedicated to their therapy plans, so overbooking would mean we sacrifice the quality of service to the client and compromise our staff - something we absolutely don’t want to do.
We are very stern on not taking work home. The hours you work are outlined in your contract. Outside of these hours it is encouraged that you live your life as anyone but a therapist (we know it can be hard, but leaving work at work is for your own good!).
We are flexible on the hours you work. If you can only work 2 days a week, that’s no problem with us! Want to work all 4 days? Go right ahead! Need to work a half day - no worries at all!
We give you the option of a 30 or 60 minute lunch break. You may be someone who likes going for a long walk over lunch or you may want to take a nap (no judgement here!), so the 60 minute option would be perfect for you. Or you might just prefer a quick break before getting back into work!
We pay above award rates - we know you’re worth it - plus we offer a generous professional development allowance AND up to 3 days of paid professional development leave (allowance and leave is dependent on the number of full days you work and qualifications). You'll also get regular PD opportunities through weekly staff meetings where a different therapist presents on a topic of interest each week.
We take joy seriously at Eat. Speak. Repeat. and encourage laughter as often as possible. We strive for a workplace that is light-hearted and joyous. We want positivity and fun to radiate throughout both of our clinics and beyond.
Everything is provided for you, so you don’t need to bring a thing. You’ll get your own room, a laptop, access to shared iPads, and the most insane number of resources. All your scheduling is done for you with our admin team (they’re superstars), and you can request support with resource making from our AHA or admin staff. You also get regular supervision. We can source external supervision where needed if someone on the team doesn’t specialise in a certain area of practice you’re needing support with.
You also have the option to work out of our movement room - a room with NO tables or chairs where the clients have freedom to roam, regulate, and sensory seek or avoid to their heart’s content.
Sound like the job for you? Reach out to us today for any questions you have, or to apply. We highly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, those who are neurodivergent, and those with disability to apply. Please address selection criteria in your cover letter.
