Our clinic provides these services to women and those assigned female at birth.Dahlia Pelvic Physio is in Killarney Vale on the Central Coast, NSW and is less than a 10-minute drive to our beautiful beaches and lake. Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Women's Health Physiotherapist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (minimum 16 hours a week).
The ideal candidate will have a passion for women's pelvic health, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a desire to grow within our practice.
This role offers the potential to increase hours as our patient base continues to expand.
This role is also suitable for those just starting out in women’s health physiotherapy, if the appropriate qualifications have been gained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with pelvic health concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a variety of pelvic health issues, including but not limited to pelvic pain, incontinence, pre and postnatal care, and sexual dysfunction.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health and wellness.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with advancements in pelvic health physiotherapy.
Contribute to the growth and development of Dahlia Pelvic Physio through active participation in team meetings and clinic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Specialized training and/or certification in women's health physiotherapy preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in physiotherapy is preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills is a must.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Open to increased hours as the practice grows.
