Practice Nurse

Practice Nurse permanent full time/part time/Casual position

An excellent opportunity exists to become part of a dynamic team in our busy General practices in Mulgrave and North Dandenong.

Practice nurse experience is most desirable, with experience in chronic health management, immunisations and health assessments - all an advantage, however willingness to learn is also considered. You need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team and have excellent time management skills to be able to manage the demands from doctors alongside your own patient load.

Essential selection criteria:

Nurse Registration (RN or a medication endorsed EN) with AHPRA (no restrictions).

Current Professional indemnity insurance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including Podiatrists, Physiotherapist, GP’s and specialist.

Ability to prioritise, organise and perform tasks efficiently

Commitment to ongoing training;

Maintain patient and staff confidentiality at all times;

Well-developed computer skills, including experience with computerised patient management systems.i.e. BestPractice

Victorian Drivers Licence

Current CPR

Up to date vaccination status
