FTE: 1.0 FTE (Mon – Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm)
LOCATION: Brunswick West office / WFH / metro Melbourne travel will be required.
START DATE: 2024 - 25

This is an exciting opportunity to join a truly values driven organisation with a big heart and ambitious plans. We are seeking dedicated and caring speech pathologists and occupational therapists who are passionate about working with autistic clients to join our wonderful team.
At Autism Abilities you can make a real difference in the lives of the people you work with through the delivery of quality therapeutic services in your allied health discipline.
In this role you will:
· help participants and families identify participant needs through assessment and individual planning
· adopt a person-centred approach to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies for participants
· deliver high quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to autistic people of all ages and abilities
· engage in collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork
· use clinical observations and standardised assessments and interpret findings
· produce exceptional reports
· deliver therapy sessions in clinic, school, home &/or community settings
· support cultural awareness, diversity and inclusiveness

· Current registration with the appropriate professional body (AHPRA, SPA, APS etc)
· Experience delivering services under the NDIS (preferable)
· Experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Experience with autistic clients is highly desirable.
· Knowledge and understanding of autism (professional &/or lived experience)
· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
· Genuine passion for empowering and supporting autistic people to live life well
· Valid driving licence and reliable vehicle
· NDIS Worker Screening Check
· Working With Children Check
