FT Speech Therapy/Allied Health Assistant - Casula, NSW
About the Opportunity:
Our client is a NDIS Allied Health Service provider in Casula and surrounding areas/ communities. This role involves mixed case load - paediatric & Adult assessments and treatment, in the clinic and school visits.
Key Responsibilities
You will be required to provide quality care to clients in collaboration with and under the direction and supervision of the lead therapist. The clients may present with one or more of the following areas of difficulty:
- Literacy and Language Difficulties (receptive/expressive including comprehension)
- Late-Talking (Early Intervention), Stuttering (Fluency) Disorders
- Auditory Processing Disorders
- Writing accurate and timely client notes
- Managing own caseload calendar
- Creating therapy resources (as needed)
- Provide feedback to the supervising therapist regarding outcome of interventions

Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualification (eg. Allied Health Assistance) or upcoming qualification in the field of speech pathology or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Speech assistant
- Current Police check, WWCC, First Aid and CPR
- NSW driver's license and own transport
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow a therapy plan as delegated by a therapist and respond to feedback.
