About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in our practice by providing a wide range of nursing services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with minor surgical procedures
• Administering vaccinations and immunizations
• Managing wound care
• Conducting health checks and developing care plans
• Managing chronic diseases
• Handling recalls and reminders
• Performing work medicals
• Managing the cold chain and ordering vaccines

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new programs

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in a general practice setting
• Knowledge of MBS nursing item numbers
• Experience using Best Practice or similar software
• DVA Coordinated Veteran Care Program knowledge
