We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Tasmania. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of mental health services in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Details

• Location: Tasmania
• Dates: 4th - 28th January 2025
• Hours: Full-time day work, with on-call coverage as required
• Remuneration: $2,500 per day
• Benefits: Flights, car, and accommodation provided

Essential Criteria

• AHPRA registration
• FRANZCP qualifications
• Medical Indemnity (for public and private patients)
• Supervision Certificate

About the Role

You will provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to the mental health team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting psychiatric assessments and formulating treatment plans
• Providing psychotherapy and medication management
• Supervising junior medical staff
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
