Location: 133 Steele Street Devonport 
Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time Penalty rates for after hours and weekends.

We are looking for a talented Urgent Care Nurse who shares our dedication to excellence and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions.
  • Perform routine and emergency procedures, including wound care, IV insertion, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Manage patient documentation and ensure accurate and timely entry into electronic health records (Best Practice)
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with clinic protocols and infection control practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Registered Nurse (RN) with an active and unrestricted nursing license.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in urgent care, emergency care, or a similar setting.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in emergency procedures, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
  • Personal Traits: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of handling high-pressure situations with professionalism.
