Non-VR/VR GPs

FT Non-VR/VR GPs for a modern; purpose built fully equipped & computerised, busy medical centre located at Wynyard, TAS. Excellent nursing & after-hours support, high remuneration, sponsor available.

Wynyard Medical Centre is a long and well-established family practice fully accredited by QPA Plus, and is seeking an additional F/T GPs to join the team. The practice is purpose-built and has been recently expanded for the health care needs of the local community and its surroundings. We have seven GPs at present and an opportunity now exists for two more GPs to join our high-quality team. The position is offered on a full-time or part-time basi . GPs at our practice work independently but also enjoy working as part of our multi-disciplinary team.

What we offer: 

*A full-time position: 

* Non-VR or VR / Local or International Medical Graduates * Excellent remuneration (Guaranteed minimal earnings of $100,000 per annum for a F/T GP & a Pro Rata for a P/T ).

* Excellent clinical support & training to medical students, GP registrars and IMGs.* GP Assist Phone Triage Service will minimise your after-hours call-outs.

* Provide sponsorship to IMGs who require.* Onsite Allied Health services (NW Pathology Collection, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Podiatry, Psychology and Remedial Massage).  

Essential Criteria: 

*Eligible for temporary or permanent residency of Australia, ·        

*Eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). ·        

*Evidence of competency in spoken and written English language, applicable to Australian medical practice such as OET or IELTS) or PTE.

*At least three years GP experience as per RACGP assessment

*Must hold a Dip. / Med.Sc (Family Medicine) or MRCGP post-graduate certificates and can be assessed as substantial or partially comparable by RACGP PEP Specialist Comparability Assessment.Desirable:     

*Previous-paid appointment as a medical practitioner to an Australian health service or Overseas. ·       

*Fellowship of RACGP or Fellowship of ACRRM.*Other post-graduate qualifications related to general practice such Diploma/Med.Sc in Family Medicine or MRCP or equivalent.
