As an Occupational Therapist (OT) with us, you’ll play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive assessment to support NDIS applications for consumers of the Commonwealth Psychosocial Support (CPS) Program. Working closely with our dedicated team of Recovery Workers, you’ll have the chance to make a tangible impact by helping individuals access the support they need on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Conduct clinical assessments utilising a variety of occupational therapy assessments.
  • Collaborate with our CPS team to conduct Functional Capacity Assessments for NDIS applications.
  • Prepare thorough and timely reports in collaboration with consumers, families, and other care providers.
  • Develop professional and trusted working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings, change initiatives, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

     

This role is part-time, working 0.8 FTE (30 hours/wk.) 4 days per week

Skills and Experiences: About You

To be considered for this role, you will possess;
 

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience in comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including functional capacity assessments, for individuals with complex needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A positive attitude towards individuals experiencing mental distress and a commitment to upholding our organisational values.
  • Valid driver's license, access to a car, and relevant certifications/clearances (e.g., National Police Clearance, First Aid Certificate, NDIS Worker Screen Check).
