Practice Information:
This Mixed billing practice is committed to providing high-quality healthcare to the Edmonton community. They are open Monday to Friday from 0800hrs to 1700hrs, with Saturday morning hours from 0800 to 1200. Their team includes seven dedicated doctors with special interests in minor surgery, skin health, sports medicine, obstetrics, and child health. The practice offers comprehensive nurse and administrative support, with 2.5 nurses, 4.5 reception staff, a practice manager, and a business manager.

- Minor surgery, including vasectomy, circumcision, and skin cancer surgery
- Women's health, including Mirena, Implanon, and pregnancy care

The Role:
As a General Practitioner, your primary responsibility is to deliver comprehensive medical care to individuals, families, and the community. You'll diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, provide preventive care, and educate patients on their health. Your role will involve managing a wide range of illnesses, often in their early stages, with an emphasis on a holistic approach that considers biological, psychological, and social factors. General Practitioners at our clinic must have the skills to treat patients of all ages and genders, addressing a variety of health issues. You may also be involved in emergency care and perform low-complexity surgical procedures. We encourage follow-up care for patients with both simple and complex health conditions. Your duties will encompass a broad spectrum of healthcare services, from illness prevention to treatment and rehabilitation. You may collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic or externally when necessary, ensuring coordinated and ongoing care.
