Description
We are seeking a Physio with great skills in clinical reasoning, manual therapy, including Neurodynamics and exercise prescription. Experience in Clinical Pilates including teaching Reformer and Matwork Classes is preferred but not essential. You can be trained on the job.

About Us
We are a well-established and progressive Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology practice in Canberra city, treating mainly privately funded Musculoskeletal and Sports injury patients and run Clinical Exercise (“Pilates informed”) matwork and Reformer Classes, and Gym equipment sessions. We are known for delivering excellent patient outcomes in a fun, caring and friendly environment. We have long (1 hour ) initial apptmts and subsequent apptmts at 30, 45 or 60 minutes, to allow time to diagnose, treat, set up self-management strategies and supervise exercise programs. We only treat one patient at a time so full attention is given.
Work with our highly experienced team of Physios and EPs and broaden your clinical knowledge and experience. We are continuing to expand due to our great reputation and steadily growing following amongst patients, medical referrers, and strong community networks.
We support professional career development, and have regular weekly Inservices (1 hour), mentoring and Professional Development (1 hour).
We have efficient, professional and friendly Admin support.
Therapists have their own room with computer.
We offer an attractive salary, part time, or full time as your caseload grows.
Requirements
- Part time (Mon, Tue, Thu or can be varied) potentially growing to full time as your caseload grows.
- Experience in Matwork and Equipment Pilates is preferred but not essential
- Availability to work occasional Sat mornings teaching Matwork classes only 8:30am-12:00pm ( approx 4 x per year.
- A degree qualification in Physiotherapy
- Full AHPRA registration
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination status
- APA membership
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Permanent residency or citizenship
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Excellent clinical reasoning skills, manual therapy including neurodynamics and exercise prescription skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Health-conscious mindset and lifestyle
- Eagerness and willingness to learn and seek advice
