About the role

- Role is suitable for experienced Occupational Therapist and new graduate with flexibility around start date

- Weekly supervision with the senior Occupational Therapist provided 

- Full time and part time work with flexible working hours available

- Paediatric caseload of children 0-6 years with high and complex needs (including equipment prescription)

- Interventions occur in clinic, schools and client homes

- One-on-one interventions as well as group sessions and parent education sessions

Skills and experience

- Experienced OT or new grad with transferable skills in working with children 

- Enthusiasm about working with children and the ability to build rapport with clients and families to make therapy fun and engaging

- Creativity and flexibility in thinking to adjust sessions according to children's needs

- Excellent time management and organisational skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills

Certifications and licences

- APHRA registration 

- Current drivers licence and car

- First Aid training
