Practice Nurse

We are looking for a part-time Practice Registered Nurse

to work 2-3 days/week at Leichhardt General Practice.

Leichhardt General Practice is offering an exciting opportunity for a part-time registered nurse to join our professional and friendly clinical team of 10+ doctors and 3+ nurses, which has been providing medical care to the Inner West community for over 70 years. We are a multidisciplinary teaching practice in Sydney’s Inner West, committed to providing the highest standard of patient care.

The position would suit a registered nurse with general practice experience or wanting to move into general practice nursing and is willing to up-skill.

Applicants must have current AHPRA registration, a CPR Certificate, an Immunisation Certificate (or be working towards completing this), and be an excellent communicator and able to work well within a team environment.

With a likely start date in late September/early October, ideal applicants must also have experience in, or be able to show commitment in up-skilling in - 

• Chronic Disease Management
• Wound Care
• Knowledge of Infection Control and Cold Chain Management
• Sterilisation procedures
• Skills in assisting in minor procedures
• Child development checks
