Occupational Therapist

Your responsibilities:
As an Occupational Therapist in the team your will:
- Work with consumers in a consumer directed care model, applying a strengths-based and capacity building approach.
- Work collaboratively to ensure positive consumer outcomes.
- Promote continuous improvement and best practice.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and identify plans to enhance outcomes related to independence, employment, and wellbeing.
- Strive for solutions that are clinically justified and empower consumers to balance risk and rewards.
- Deliver high quality services within a range of funding and legislative models including NDIS, Aged Care and Disability Employment Services
About you:
You will need to have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, a current AHPRA registration, and preferably experience in the Disability or Health Sector.
You are consumer focused, determined and self-disciplined, resilient and adaptive and collaborative.
However, just as important is your belief in and passion for our mission and desire to positively impact the lives of people living with MS and other neurological conditions.
If successful, you will need to:
- Complete a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Complete a Disability Workers Exclusion Check.
- Have a valid driver’s license
- A National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
