We are excited to open up applications for a full-time or a part-time Dentist position at Northern Beaches Dental Mackay - our lovely, family owned and operated practice in beautiful Mackay, Queensland.

The Mackay Region is one of the fastest growing regional towns in Queensland with the major industries being mining resources and sugar production. It lies on the shores of the Coral Sea with over 31 pristine beaches to enjoy. The Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef are less than a couple of hours away and are great for a weekend getaway. It has good reputable schools, churches and parks and is a great place for the young and old alike.

Our practice was established in 2011 and has a strong clientele based in and around
the ever growing Northern Beaches suburbs in Mackay. Our demographics include a loyal and friendly diverse group of patients right from young children to the elderly. We have a
supportive and lovely group of DAs and Receptionists, most of them who have been
with us for many years.

Our modern practice comes equipped with the latest technology including CBCT, Operating Microscopes, Intraoral scanners for Digital Impressions, Milling Unit,3D Printer and Furnace, Intra oral and DSLR Cameras and multiple Endodontic File systems. We are a team of three dentists and a part-time OHT with a combined experience of over 80 years in General Dentistry with special interests that include Implantology, Invisalign, Cosmetic/Restorative Dentistry, Microscope-assisted Root Canal Procedures, Nitrous Oxide Relative Analgesia, Minor Oral Surgery and Intravenous Sedation. We enjoy what we do and are keen to learn more by taking part in CPDs regularly and challenging ourselves to further our professional standing through the RACDS Programs.

We have enjoyed interacting with and mentoring younger associates over the years at our practice and believe that they have benefitted from their experience with us, some moving on to establishing their own successful private practices in different cities. Whilst we believe that metrics and numbers are essential to gauge and run a successful business, we have never enforced targets on our associates. We believe that practicing ethical dentistry, discussing all treatment options clearly, guiding the patient in their decision making and having a genuine desire to help them reach their goals with treatment performed to a high standard in a relatively stress-free environment increases confidence and productivity.

We will be looking to accept candidates who are motivated to do their best with a strong desire to learn and improve skills, have a friendly and pleasing demeanour with good communication skills, who will get along well with the team and have high personal and professional standards.

Renumeration will be a percentage of the billings.
