Registered Practice Nurse - Pro Health Care Dover Gardens

The Role:

Reporting to the Practice Manager, this role is responsible for catering to the needs of all Patients and Practitioners of Pro Health Care.

This involves working within a multidisciplinary team of both medical and allied health practitioners focusing on delivering exceptional patient centered care.

This opportunity is within Pro Health Care Dover Gardens, on a permanent part-time basis for 24 hours (3 days) per week. The shifts will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus any ad hoc cover for both planned and unplanned leave.

Key Duties include:

• EPC / GP Management Plans;
• Health Assessments & CDM;
• Managing recalls for chronic disease care;
• Immunisations (including an understanding of Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program);
• Treatment room;
• Wound Management;
• ECG's & Spirometry;
• 24Hr Blood Pressure Monitoring;
• Blood Collection / Venipuncture;
• Managing Phone Call Triage;
• Stock Ordering and Management; and
• Minor Procedural Assistance

About You:

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

• Registered Nurse;
• At least 2 years’ experience in general practice medicine (desired);
• Experience with Best Practice (desired);
• Strong financial literacy and attention to detail;
• Honest and integrity and the ability to work with confidential information;
• The ability to work productively within a team environment.
