Sureway Health & Wellbeing at Eltham is a family friendly practice focused on high quality psychology services for children, adolescents and adults.  We work with a wide variety of clients at our Eltham site and provide services to NDIS participants, Medicare funded clients, under Work Cover and TAC funding.  Our highly experienced team of psychologists at Eltham provide quality and caring supports and we have space for a new psychologist to join the team due to demand for services.

About You

To be successful, you will be a fully registered psychologist with experience, you will have a passion for providing quality psychological therapy and assessment to individuals in a private practice setting.  Previous experience with children and adolescents is preferred but not essential.

You will be dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment for every individual who connects with our services. With a client centered and compassionate approach, you will deliver evidence-based therapy and assessments using age-appropriate therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs.

You will have:

  • A track record of utilising evidence-based intervention strategies and techniques to overcome barriers that prevent clients from achieving their goals;
  • Competence to work independently with excellent time management, administrative and report writing skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with other health professionals and service providers
  • Ability to work with NDIS participants and clients under Medicare funding

Experience/Qualifications

Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist.

Medicare provider number (or eligibility to apply).

This position requires the successful applicant to undertake a National Police Check, NDIS Workers Check and relevant state-based screens. Applicants also must have the right to work in Australia.
