Locum Intensive Care Unit Registrar

Our client, a hospital in Launceston, Tasmania, is seeking a motivated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registrar to join their team for a locum position.

Location:

Position: Locum ICU Registrar

Shift Structure (Choose your availability):

• Block 1: July 8th - 14th, 2024 (7 days)

  • Days: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Nights: On-call after hours and RMO duties

• Block 2: July 22nd - 28th, 2024 (7 days)

  • Days: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Nights: On-call after hours and RMO duties

What we need:

• Registration with AHPRA

What we offer:

• Competitive daily rates:
  • $1,800 per day shift
  • $2,000 per night shift
• Flights, accommodation, and car provided

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside a consultant available on-site from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Participate in on-call duties after hours and fulfill RMO responsibilities.
• Manage general ward work, code strokes, admissions from the Emergency Department (ED).
• Respond to Code Blue and MET calls.
