About Southern Sports Podiatry

Southern Sports Podiatry is an independently owned clinic in the heart of Sutherland, which has been servicing the extended Sutherland Shire region for the last 15 years. We primarily focus on sports podiatry, offering exemplary service to our patients, always striving to be a cut-above what’s currently being offered. 

Even though we are a majority MSK and Biomechanics clinic, we do have general nail and skin care patients, and perform regular toenail surgeries. We have Ony-fix nail corrective system and an in-house Shockwave machine, which you will receive training on both if you are not familiar. 

We are offering part, or full time positions, depending on the candidate. 

You will have the opportunity to work and be mentored by our Principle podiatrist Ryan, who is the Podiatrist for the Illawarra Dragons NRL team, and Illawarra Hawks Basketball team. Our Senior podiatrist Monique has been with the clinic for seven years, and has a wealth of experience in all fields of podiatry. 

We are located a three minute walk from Sutherland Train station. 

This role does NOT include home care or nursing home visits. 

The right candidate will have;

- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write detailed letters to doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong independence and initiative, with the capability to manage your own caseload and work independently.

- Commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients, particularly those with sports-related needs.

- Ideally three plus years of clinical experience 

- An open and honest communication with our staff members 

- Professional insurance and registration with AHPRA
