Coast Cardiology is a dynamic and growing specialist practice located by the ocean on the Mid-North Coast of NSW. The Practice is dedicated to providing high-quality cardiac care to their patients. The Practice has a team of professionals who are committed to excellence and compassionate care. They are looking for a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join the team on a part-time basis, transitioning to full-time early in 2025.

Position Overview

As an experienced Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional cardiac diagnostic services. This is initially a permanent part-time position, commencing at 24-30 hours per week (to be negotiated with the successful candidate).

In early 2025 the role will ideally increase to full-time, 38 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be a professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The specialised Practice will consider less experience for the right candidate. The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running and integrate seamlessly into their busy practice.

Key Responsibilities

To be successful in the role you will be responsible for the following:

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms and other cardiac diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate with cardiologists to provide accurate diagnostic information
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning
• Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment
• Assist with other clinical duties as required

Requirements

• Qualified Cardiac Sonographer with relevant certifications e.g. Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Sonography or demonstrated equivalence
• Ideally, 3 years of experience in cardiac diagnostics (less experience considered for the right candidate)
• Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal or skills
• Demonstrated Patient-centred care with attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy practice
• Strong team player with a collaborative attitude
• Flexibility to adapt to changing demands
