Medical Receptionist

WA Iron Centre, is a specialist centre offering dedicated management of iron deficiency and iron deficiency anaemia in WA led by Clinical Associate Professor Pradeep Jayasuriya.

The Position

We are seeking a self motivated and enthusiatic person to provide administration support to our Practice. 

As a medical receptionist your duties will include general administrative tasks such as dealing with general enquiries, welcoming patients,  booking appointments and  record keeping. 

We are looking for a Mature minded team member who has exceptional customer service skills, flexibility, initiative, ability to multitask, a keen eye for detail and is able to efficiently handle patient enquiries. Experience with Best practice medical software is advantageous. 
 

Requirements

- Experience in a reception, administrative or customer service role. 

- Confidence communicating and liasing with all sectors of the communities including other health care facilities and  patients who are unwell. 

- The ability to work effectively as a member of a small team, exercise initiative and judgment while working with minimal supervision. 

- Ability to prioritise tasks. 

- Previous experience using Best practice software is preferred but training can be provided

- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of products.
