About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our expanding team in the ACT and surrounding areas. As a mobile service provider, we utilise community-based facilities including local gyms, pools, parks and homes to provide evidence-based contemporary, rehabilitative exercise programs for our clientele. Working within a range of schemes, you will be exposed to various musculoskeletal, psychological, metabolic and neurological conditions.
Reporting to the State Manager, the successful candidate will be delegated a coverage area to service within the ACT & surrounding areas and be responsible for:
Developing and implementing tailored exercise physiology programs.
Collaborating with health professionals, insurers, employers, and other stakeholders to achieve the rehabilitation goal.
Rehabilitating claimants back to pre-injury status (return to work / activities of daily living).
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and best practice treatment.
Maintaining required qualifications.
Flexibility in travel across the ACT and surrounding areas
Autonomy in organising independent schedule, including client bookings and administrative tasks.
Skills & Experience:
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology with ESSA accreditation.
Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certificates.
Unrestricted driver's license and vehicle.
SIRA accreditation (or willingness to acquire).
Experience:
New graduates are welcome to apply.
Preferred experience in Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident schemes.
Desirable experience in Life Insurance, NDIS, and other schemes.
Skills:
Demonstrable ability to provide high-quality, outcome-focused exercise interventions.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time management, administrative, and report-writing skills.
Problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
Show initiative and leadership with delegated tasks.
