About the job

Company Description

With first hand experience of learning to live with disability, I have combined my personal experiences with academic studies to create a new and meaningful way to support children in their development. Leading Lights professionals teach skills using a combination of allied health therapies, education and holistic health practices through our Lead Practitioner model.
By collaborating with the entire team around each child, and creating truly holistic care and therapy plans, we have seen some incredible outcomes in the children we work with, even recoveries! Our team is growing to include truly amazing professionals whose individual life experiences shine in what they do.

Additional goals of Leading Lights includes:

- Making allied health services financially accessible to everyone

- To support local schools to identify developmental delays in children so that they can access support early

- To upskill families and carers with strategies for supporting child development to create the best possible outcomes for children individually.

- We make therapy available to children in our Clinics and can also do home, school and childcare visits too!

Understanding the NDIS is a key feature of our organisation and we are passionate about helping families access this amazing government incentive but also supporting them to understand the scheme and navigate their NDIS journey.

Our philosophy is to make sure the children we see are the leading lights in their own health journey. We seek to meet each child for who they are, at whatever stage of development that may be.
