Associate Dentist

Northvale Dental is expanding and has big goals to achieve in 2024. We are looking for that dentist, available to work on Wednesday and Friday, who has the experience and understanding of the importance of building lifelong relationships with patients built on trust, confidence, quality of work and exceptional patient care.

We have a strong and dedicated team that is excited about introducing a new dentist and helping them take advantage of all the opportunities available at our practice. Together with our Principal, Dr Safinah, the Northvale team is committed to supporting them in realising their full clinical potential.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (or equivalent) that is recognised by the Dental Board of Australia
• Registration with the Dental Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Valid Victorian radiation use licence
• Minimum 2 years clinical private practice experience in Australia
• Experience with Exact Dental Software favourable

Tasks & responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating a diverse range of issues affecting an individual’s oral health. The role of a dentist includes, however is not limited to, examining patients, coordinating diagnostic procedures including radiography, diagnosing dental disease and performing oral surgeries
• Create treatment plans for patients to maintain or restore oral health
• Manage complex cases with multidisciplinary management
• Supervisory responsibilities to dental assistants, dental hygienist and dental therapists
