Position: Occupational Therapist - Autism Caseloads - Hybrid Role
Work Hours: FT / PT positions available
Location: West Melbourne Suburbs

Our Client is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist with expertise in providing services to clients across various age groups who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This dynamic role requires you to work confidently across clinic, school, and home settings, delivering high-quality care and support to our clients.

Supported by an experienced team leader within our company, you will have the opportunity to work independently and confidently with clients, making a positive impact on their lives. The majority of our clients are based in the western suburbs, providing you with a diverse and rewarding caseload.

Responsibilities:

  • 3 days contact clinical and community-based services to our clients residing in Melbourne's western suburbs, ensuring accessibility and convenience for all.
  • Provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services to individuals and their support networks, encompassing comprehensive assessment, ongoing treatment, and tailored individual programs.
  • Actively promote the role of Occupational Therapy within our center and the broader community, advocating for the importance of our services in enhancing the lives of individuals with ASD.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in producing detailed and informative reports for client coordinators and General Practitioners (GPs), ensuring clear communication and coordination of care.
  • Collaborate closely with other allied health professionals, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to client care and maximising therapeutic outcomes through effective teamwork and communication.

Requirements:

  • Full registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Valid Victorian driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle
  • Maintenance of professional indemnity insurance
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering a supportive and cohesive workplace culture.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
