Registered/Enrolled Nurses - Aged Care and Hospitals
We have exciting opportunities for Registered and Enrolled Nurses who are seeking flexible and fulfilling work with many of our reputable partners throughout metro and regional areas in Aged Care and Hospitals.
Your tasks will include and not limited to:
- Follow organisation policies and practices at all times
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, oral hygiene, and continence management
- Assist clients with mobility and dressings
- Feeding residents with appropriate dietary requirements
- Personal care such as showering, toileting and changing clothes
- Maximising client’s physical functions through exercises
- Ensure that client’s privacy and dignity is maintained at all times
- Engage residents or clients to make them feel homely and connected
- Ensure documentation is accurate
- Complete incident report forms when required
- Review and follow individual support and care plans
- Able to work autonomously and in a team
- Any other tasks assigned from time to time
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Previous experience in aged care is desirable but not compulsory
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Minimum 12 months work experience needed in hospitals
- Vaccination records for COVID-19 and current Flu Vaccination
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport is desirable
- National Police Certificate (less than six months old)
- Valid NDIS clearance for aged care
- Working with Children Check (mandatory for hospitals)
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate
- Valid BLS/CPR Certificate
- Working rights in Australia
