Established over 30 years ago, Samford Valley Medical Centre is a well-regarded, GP owned practice which focuses on high quality continuity of care for our community. We are very fortunate to have very experienced nursing staff and ample supportive administrative staff as part of our team. Our practice in Samford Village is situated in North-West Brisbane, very close to Keperra and Ferny Grove. It is a close-knit community, with a semi-rural village feel, with many great restaurants and coffee shops, fitness centres and boutique outlets.The surrounding mountainous terrain boasts many a challenging hike or mountain biking trail. We are only a 20–25-minute drive against traffic from the inner northBrisbane suburbs. The Medical Centre boasts a comfortable work environment equip with high quality facilities including a 3 bay treatment room and separate chronic disease management consulting room. Our team is supportive, with monthly practice meetings and we are developing an education focus with the recent addition of medical students. We are currently open Monday to Saturday mornings.  Workdays and hours are fully negotiable, with full or part-time hours available. It is highly likely that a new doctor will be fully booked from their first day and is free to choose their own billing policy, with a client base able to support this. Our doctors have complete control over their diary with work-life balance and family life highly valued. There is opportunity to build your own special interest area due to the diverse demographic that encompasses every age group. We are offering 65% billings due to our higher than usual number of experienced support staff which significantly reduces unnecessary workload in terms of all administrative tasks and our nursing support is beyond compare. Candidates should be vocationally registered and have current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity.   We would love to welcome any interested GPs to visit us at the medical centre.
