Associate Dentist

We’re excited to be hiring a caring Associate Dentist to join our growing team at Shire Smiles!

Are you an experienced, skilled, and compassionate Dentist? We have an exciting opportunity for you at our Miranda clinic. Starting immediately, we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our energetic team for 2-3 days per week, with flexible days negotiable, and the prospect of expanding the role to a full-time basis.

As a dentist at Shire Smiles, you'll have access to state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge tools such as an OPC/CBCT, 3D scanning and printing, and a microscope, allowing you to provide the highest quality treatments to your patients.

You’ll also have the opportunity to work closely with Dr. Michael, our principal dentist. With his guidance, you'll have the chance to further develop and enhance both your technical and soft skills. Dr. Michael is passionate about blending outstanding professional dentistry with empathy and communication towards patients. This builds a trusted relationship with patients, where they can overcome any fear or anxiety about visiting the dentist, and partner with us in receiving dental care. Under Dr. Michael's guidance, you will grow to reach your full potential as a dentist.

We’re seeking a dentist who has:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a Private Practice in Australia
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
• Confidence practicing independently in all aspects of General Dentistry.
• A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and empathy towards patients.
• A team-oriented nature, with a sense of fun, and enjoys contributing to a positive working environment.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Dental Practitioner and professional indemnity insurance (or you are able to obtain this).
• Current Radiation License and relevant Insurances.
• Initiative, great organisation skills, and the ability to multi task.
• Availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and some Saturdays preferable.
