Massage Therapist

This is a contract on-site role for a Massage Therapist located in Newstead at Qi Flow Wellness. The Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing professional, personalized, and therapeutic massage services to clients and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records. He/she will also participate in marketing and referral programs to build his/her own clientele within the wellness center.

Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma or an advanced diploma of Remedial Massage or Massage Therapy
• Recognized provider of health fund rebates
• Member of a recognized massage association or professional body and adherence to their Codes of Ethics and Conducts
• Strong knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathophysiology of the human body
• Demonstrated proficiency in various massage techniques, such as Chinese, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Sports, Prenatal, and Hot Stone Massage
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
• Experience dwith other holistic wellness modalities, such as cupping, acupuncture, and acupoint etc.
• If you are familiar with Chinese culture and be able to communicate in Mandarine or Cantoonese will be fantestic.
