About the location

Albury is a medium-sized Australian city with plenty of history and stunning natural surroundings. A lower cost of living, reduced traffic congestion, strong career opportunities, work-life balance and dynamic arts, culture and leisure activities are the key drivers for metropolitan residents to relocate to regional cities like Albury Wodonga. This regional city on the banks of the Murray River, has been named Town of the Year, as Australians increasingly seek out long weekends in the regions. This is the ultimate escape for every type of traveler. Although the Hume Highway now bypasses this NSW city, which lies on the Victorian border, today’s Albury is a gourmet goldmine, cultural hub and water lovers’ playground, with wineries and snowfields within easy reach. Health Care & Social Assistance is Albury's largest employment sector, supporting an estimated 6,380 jobs.   Albury Wodonga has 15 public and 9 private primary schools, with over 50 early childhood and childcare centres.
