General Medical Practitioner
A mixed billing family practice in Port Pirie 240km north of Adelaide. Open 6 days a week Monday to Friday 8.00am to 8.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 3.00pm.
The position is for a general practitioner to work as part of the primary health care team in the medical practice. They would be responsible for comprehensive, coordinated and continued medical care for individuals, families, residential aged care, emergency medicine, and palliative care.
Applicant will be required to provide inpatient services to Port Pirie Regional Health Service. Opportunity to provide emergency on-call for the right applicant.
You will be part of a friendly team providing a comprehensive range of health services in a supportive and caring environment , with registered nurses to assist with care plans , vaccinations etc.
Will need to be able to obtain Credentials at the Port Pirie Hospital, to provide inpatient services.
Standard work hours are 8-10 sessions per week consulting hours, Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm. and Saturdays on a roster 9.00am to 3.00pm.
Based in a DPA, MMM4 area, IMGs who are subject to the moratorium requirements are welcome to apply. Visa sponsorship for the right applicant.
Essential Criteria:
MBBS or equivalent (4 years experience)
Minimum AHPRA registration ( General/ Specialist registration)
Medical Indemnity Insurance
