Position Summary:

Bright Horizons Psychology is seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to clients of all ages with a range of communication and swallowing difficulties. This role requires a strong understanding of current best practices, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

 

Role Description

Speech Language Pathologist role located on-site in Templestowe Lower, VIC at Bright Horizons Psychology. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing therapy for speech, dysphagia, communication disorders, and language disorders, and implementing school-based supports to address individual learning profiles.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Speech Pathology (e.g. Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy)
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • National Police Check.
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing assessment and intervention services to clients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Adherence to the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Ethics.
  • A strong understanding of the NDIS and experience working with NDIS participants is highly desirable.
