Occupational Therapist
ELEV8 is searching for a superstar Occupational Therapist (Contractor) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional, evidence-based occupational therapy services to NDIS participants, aged care and private clients helping them live more independently and fulfilling lives.

- Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify functional limitations and develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to each participant's unique goals.
- Intervention Expertise: Utilise a broad range of evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
- Goal-Directed Care Planning: Collaborate with participants and their support networks to establish clear, measurable goals and develop a comprehensive care plan to achieve them.
- Equipment & Home Modification Prescription: Assess the need for assistive technology and recommend appropriate equipment or suggest home modifications to enhance independence and safety.
- Chronic Illness Management: Support participants in managing chronic illnesses by developing strategies for daily living activities and promoting self-management skills.
- Empowering Education: Provide education, advice, and recommendations to participants and their families, equipping them with the tools and strategies to manage their conditions and promote self-reliance.
- Collaborative Communication: Develop strong relationships with participants, families, carers, and other service providers, fostering effective communication and collaboration for optimal outcomes.
- Comprehensive Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including assessments, progress reports, and NDIS/Aged Care reports.

Here's what makes a great fit for this role:
- Qualifications & Clearances: Hold a completed Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the relevant body. Plus, a current driver's license and the ability to obtain Working With Children Checks, National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (if not already acquired).

- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
Desirable however not mandatory:
- Experience within Paediatrics providing therapy supports
