Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Dear OTs,
My name is Devi - short for Devimanohari Mani, I started my career as a peads OT and dabbed into other areas of OT and found my life’s purpose back at Peads. Having the lived experience as a neuro-divergent individual myself, I could relate to the challenges faced by children and can connect and empathise with parents. Learning from many great OTs and my own experience, I made a name for myself to be an ND-affirming, family-centred peads OT in the Brisbane/Moreton Bay region.
When I became a solo practitioner, almost all my clients came through word-of-mouth, referred by current clients. It posed a challenge as I could only serve a limited number of clients and as my waitlist grew, I wanted to have fellow OTs join me so I could mentor and coach them to provide interventions in a way that children and families would love and benefit.
I also wanted to provide a workplace with a great work-life balance that therapists would enjoy coming to work on a Monday morningπ and that’s how Therapy and Stuff OT Clinic – a value-based, client-centred company, was born.
Fresh graduates, Return-to-work OTs, OTs looking to switch to Paediatrics, Overseas-qualified OTs with Australian work rights are welcome to apply.
