Role Description
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is enthusiastic about working with children and helping them reach their full potential. The employee will be responsible for conducting therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other allied health professionals. The role offers scope to further specialise and consolidate paediatric skills.
We tailor our training, mentoring and support to each person based on their experience, so you’ll get weekly one-on-one supervision sessions, bi-weekly team in-services, and a generous annual budget for continuing education. Plus, we work with you to create a personalised growth plan to support your development in areas that excite you the most. Growth, learning, and fun are at the heart of everything we do!
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the developmental needs of paediatric patients.
- Design and implement evidence based interventions based on assessment findings.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions as needed.
- Kindergarten and School visit assessments
- Educate parents and caregivers on home exercises and activities to support therapy goals.

Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA Registered
- Working with Children Check
- Ability to connect with children and engage in playful interactions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrates dedication and takes pride in professional responsibilities

KTS specialises in supporting children and families with developmental delays and disabilities.
