Who are we?
Alara Women’s Health is a multidisciplinary wellness center located on the Central Coast of NSW. We have 2 sites of practice - Holgate and Tuggerah. We are dedicated to supporting women through all stages of life. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate, individualized care that considers each woman’s unique journey. At Alara, we understand that every woman’s health is shaped by her experiences, and we are committed to treating the whole person—not just the symptoms.
Our services span a woman’s entire lifespan, from menarche to pregnancy and postnatal recovery, through menopause, and into the management of chronic health conditions such as cancer, lymphoedema, and neurological disorders. We also specialise in helping women return to movement, regain strength, and reconnect with their bodies at every stage of life.
At Alara, both movement therapy and hands-on physiotherapy are central to our approach. By combining personalized, hands-on care with guided movement, we empower women to build strength, confidence, and a deeper connection with their bodies. Together, these services help create sustainable, healthy habits that support long-term well-being. We believe in helping women move well so they can BE well.
Who we are looking for?
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled MUSCULOSKELETAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST to join our team on a part-time basis (minimum 3 days per week) or full time basis. Our ideal candidate will be committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care, with a genuine desire to help others grow while expanding their own expertise.
Job Requirements:
- Conduct thorough assessments and deliver effective treatment to achieve positive patient outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to address a variety of health concerns
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to optimize results for patients
- Educate patients about their condition, including movement strategies for improved health and recovery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Communicate effectively with referring GPs, medical specialists, and allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Actively participate in continued education and professional development to stay current in the field
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to mentees, fostering growth and learning within the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Experience in a mentorship capacity
Other Skills:
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in a mentorship role
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based practice
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
- Openness to both teaching others and learning from your colleagues
- Capable of providing high-quality hands-on care (training in PhysioPilates available if needed)
- Availability for at least one afternoon shift per week
