Sports Trainer or Physiotherapist

Role Description

This is a part-time casual role for a Sports Trainer or Physiotherapist to work at a local football (soccer) under our banner at Pure Sports Medicine in Greensborough, VIC. The role involves regular attendance at training session and match coverage. Session tasks include assessment of injuries, collaboration with wider medical support team and coaching staff sports taping / strapping and injury rehabilitation (guidance provided) . The position requires hands-on involvement in athlete care within a sports club setting.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Sport Trainer is minimum qualification expected
• Effective Communication and Teaching abilities
• Experience in sports rehabilitation and injury prevention
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science
• Working towards a career in Sports Physiotherapy or Sports Science preferred
• Previous experience working with a club as a sport trainer preferred
• Previous experience working in football (soccer)
